The Third Tunnel at the DMZ
What it is
One of several tunnels dug by North Korea toward Seoul, discovered in 1978. It could have moved large numbers of troops south quickly.
The visit
You descend a steep ramp or take a monorail on some tours, then walk along the low, damp tunnel toward the border. Helmets are provided.
Before you go
No cameras or bags are allowed inside, and the walk can be tiring on the way back up. Skip it if you are very claustrophobic.
